Replacement & Refund Policy

At Nitish Kalita Flute, we carefully inspect and pack every flute before dispatch. Since we process replacements with the same product only, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify the suitable flute scale, size and specifications before placing an order.
Replacement Eligibility
Replacement requests are accepted only in the following cases:
- You have received a damaged product
- You have received a defective product
- You have received a wrong product
No replacement will be provided for a change of mind, incorrect flute selection, personal preference or natural variations in bamboo.
How to Request a Replacement
Step 1 — Report the Issue
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs and/or videos showing:
- The complete product
- A close-up of the damage or defect
- The original packaging
- The shipping label (wherever applicable)

Step 2 — Verification & Replacement
Once verified, we will arrange the return pickup and provide a replacement subject to stock availability. The customer must pack the product securely in its original packaging.
Replacement Will Not Be Accepted If:
- Request is made after 24 hours of delivery
- Required photographs/videos are not provided
- Product has been used, modified or altered
- Damage due to misuse, accidental damage or improper handling
- Original packaging, labels or accessories are missing
- Customer selected an unsuitable flute scale or size
- Issue is related to natural variations in bamboo
Products Not Eligible for Replacement
- Customized flutes
- Flute accessories marked as non-returnable
- Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect flute selection or personal preference.
If a replacement is approved but the same product is unavailable, we may provide a refund of the amount paid. Any approved refund will be processed through the original payment method.
Important Note About Bamboo Flutes
Our flutes are handmade using natural bamboo. Slight variations in colour, texture, grain and appearance are natural and should not be considered manufacturing defects. Sound and pitch may also vary based on the player’s technique and environmental factors.
